    What is Overseas Pakistanis Organization (OPO)?

    We are a Not for Profit (NFP) organization comprised of Pakistanis
    living abroad in Australia, Great Britain, Japan, Saudi Arabia, United
    Arab Emirates, and United States of America.

    What does OPO do, and How?

    We believe accountability is the key to better Pakistan.  OPO’s
    purpose is to help voice the matters of Pakistan through those
    Pakistanis living abroad by highlighting the problem as well as
    providing possible solutions. Then, we turn around and present both
    the problems and possible outcomes to the local leaders in Pakistan
    in order for them to rectify the situation.

    Who runs the OPO?

    Our deriving force is our vast groups of volunteers who help conduct
    organizational activities. OPO’s volunteers are Pakistanis living
    abroad who are patriotic and compassionate about Pakistan. In order
    to become a member of OPO it is important to live abroad.

    Does your organization participate in Pakistani election or politics?

    No. OPO does not, nor plans to; participate in Pakistani elections or
    political activites. OPO is unbiased to all entities such as political
    parties, labor parties and any other government bodies which
    operate in Pakistan for the betterment of Pakistan. We also believe
    these entities can make Pakistan a stronger and prosperous
    Pakistan. No member of OPO of any level is authorized to compete
    for any political seat with in Pakistan. To utilize the OPO’s name for
    personal and private gain in any of its operating jurisdiction is
    unlawful and serious penalties can apply.

    Can OPO help with my immigration case?

    OPO provides assistance in filing and pursuing immigration and
    Naturalization matters through our volunteers, free of cost. However,
    OPO is not the authority to decide the outcome of any immigration
    matters. Please be advised we only take up and pursue immigration
    matters that are family based. We are not authorized or equipped to
    deal with cases that are work related or are on behalf of
    corporations. You may e-mail us to find out more regarding this
    matter as cases differ individual to individual.

    Can OPO help with my Taxes?

    Yes, we do provide some small business, and limited number of
    individual tax filing for free of cost. However, please be advised this
    service is seasonal and is limited due to number of volunteers in this
    field. Please also make note that due to rules and regulations of
    certain countries this service may not be available in all regions.
